Winter Wonderland
900 N Phillips Ave, Sioux Falls
The city of Sioux Falls turns Falls Park into one of the favorite Christmas light spots! Last year’s Winter Wonderland display encompassed a total of 338,000 lights and LEDs. Over a mile of garland transformed 260 trees and 215 light poles into glowing beacons of cheer. We’re sure the 2024-2025 display will look even more festive than the one before it!
Myers Crazy for Christmas Display
1819 S Hawthorne Ave, Sioux Falls
Another favorite Christmas light display is of Luminary Lane, which stretches 22nd-26th street and Glendale, Hawthorne and Park Avenues, you’ll get to see one of Sioux Falls oldest traditions: endless columns of glowing white lanterns lining every street. (This year’s Luminary Lane date is still TBD at the time of writing; check out the Facebook page for up-to-date info.)
Lights on Lotta
311 W Lotta St, Sioux Falls
Lights on Lotta isn’t just a gorgeous display of holiday festivity. The neighborhood glow up is also a fundraising effort for Big Paws Canine Foundation and K9s For Warriors: two outstanding nonprofits that partner America’s greatest heroes with life-changing service, therapy and companion dogs. Go see the lights. Learn how you can support veterans while you’re at it. You’ll feel as Christmassy as Christmassy gets.
